Anna's 7th birthday

our summer vacation to Estes Park, Colorado

We've got the Subaru loaded down with snacks, way more clothes than we could possibly wear in a weeks' time, books, games, golf clubs, and brand new tires. Ready for the 11 hr drive!

The kids are waking up 8 hrs into the drive, "...are we almost there yet?!"  it's Father's Day by the way:)

Date Day! while the girls are in camp me and Alan went for a hike to Alberta Falls

The girl's new favorite game Ga-Ga ball, kinda like dodge ball in a sand pit:)

We went on a hike to Bear Lake with my parents, the girls loved having a snowball fight in the summer and climbing on the boulders!

Drove to the look out point on Trail Ridge Road! What an amazing view!

a two hour horse back ride through Moraine Park. We did some trotting and some mountain climbing plus saw a family of badgers!

Date Night at the Stanley Hotel. This one was on Alan's check list and we a great time in the whiskey bar!

Alan took me to a 9 hole golf course while the girls were at camp.

Anna is in a little performance at the Y singing Yellow Submarine and YMCA:)

Alan took Julia to her first round of 18 holes of  golf where Alan hit a 79! Julia has been really picking up the game and loves the time with her dad:)

we saw these little guys all over Colorado and I was lucky enough to get a picture of one who came out while I was sitting nearby reading a book

We took the girls into downtown Estes Park for some fun:) Sky Bounce, Slides, Pizza and Candy plus a few souvenirs 

One last ride before we leave:)
